Eighth Aerial Port Squadron, USAF in Vietnam

This is a Narration of My Adventurers in Viet Nam

I like to say that I had a very successful two tours, no wounds, no medals and all my body parts. I was at Phuoc Vinh from Sep ’69 to Sep ’70. Returned to Phuoc Vinh Jan ‘71 and left when the base closed Apr ’71. I was on the last C130 with the NCOIC and our AT forklift. Two others were to drive our stolen ¾ ton truck to TSN. They were caught trying to sell the truck. Asked for Vung Tau and got Binh Thuy. Later I did get to Vung Tau.
